VectusUp vs ClickUp
An honest comparison — ClickUp and VectusUp were built for different purposes, and this page exists to help you figure out which one fits what you need, not to convince you of anything.
ClickUp
Project & work management
"The everything app for work" — a general-purpose productivity and project management platform.
Built for
Teams in any industry who need to manage tasks, projects, and documentation — not specific to marketing agencies.
Where it's strong
- ✓Extremely configurable and general-purpose — fits almost any workflow, not just agencies.
- ✓Much richer project views (Gantt, mind maps, whiteboards, advanced dashboards).
- ✓More advanced internal automations, and more of them per plan.
VectusUp
Marketing agency management
A management platform for marketing agencies and small businesses, developed by Scaleads.
Built for
Agencies and freelancers who need to centralize CRM, clients, content, posts, finance, and tasks.
Where it's strong
- ✓Built specifically for marketing agencies — CRM, clients, content and publishing already come connected, no need to configure anything from scratch.
- ✓Direct Facebook and Instagram publishing, tied to the content calendar — ClickUp doesn't publish to social media.
- ✓Native per-client financial management and sales CRM, without having to build it yourself from generic fields/automations.
What isn't directly comparable
Not everything VectusUp does exists in ClickUp, and vice versa. Areas where ClickUp doesn't compete:
- –No dedicated sales CRM or native deal pipeline.
- –No social media content calendar or direct Facebook/Instagram publishing.
- –No client financial management or VAT tracking — it's a work/project tool, not an agency-business tool.
Pricing
ClickUp: Free plan (Free Forever). Paid plans per user/month: Unlimited (~$7-10), Business (~$12-19), Enterprise on request. AI is a separate add-on.

When to choose ClickUp
If you need an extremely flexible project management tool, for teams with very different workflows from each other (not just marketing), or you already have a separate CRM/publishing system and just want to organize tasks and projects.
When to choose VectusUp
If you'd rather have CRM, clients, content and social media publishing already designed for the day-to-day of a marketing agency, instead of building that workflow yourself from a generic tasks/projects tool.
You can also use both
Some agencies use ClickUp for more complex internal project management (e.g. website development, video production) and VectusUp for recurring client operations (CRM, content, publishing, finance) — the two can coexist for different needs.
Conclusion
ClickUp is a general-purpose, extremely configurable productivity platform, but that means building your own agency workflow out of generic pieces (tasks, fields, automations). VectusUp already comes with that workflow ready-made and specific to marketing agencies — CRM, clients, content and Meta publishing all connected — at the cost of being less flexible for other kinds of work outside that scope.
